Iran open to efforts for de-escalation, Oman says



Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, told his Omani counterpart, Badr Albusaidi, in a phone call that Tehran is open to any serious efforts at de-escalation following Israeli and U.S. attacks over the weekend, according to a statement by Oman’s foreign ministry on Sunday.

Oman has been acting as a mediator in nuclear talks between the United States and Iran.
