Amazing Blown Glass Creations by Scott Bisson

Scott Bisson, an avid glassblower from Oregon, creates remarkable hand-blown glass figurines in beautiful, delicate tones. He often depicts aquatic creatures or amphibians, whose organic forms complement the fluidity of the molten glass he shapes.
Bisson’s glassblowing career began in high school, when he bent a glass tube over a Bunsen burner. This experience launched him on a journey that, through years of experience and professional mentorship, has enabled him to become a master of twisting and shaping molten glass.
He takes pride in his work and his ability to challenge himself. On his website, he writes, ” If I don’t lose a single piece a day trying to overcome a challenge, I’m not working hard enough. Craftsmanship is the raw material for great work, and drive and energy give it form .”
