Kremlin Aide: US Ukraine Peace Plan Set to Be Revised by All Parties

Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov said that the draft US plan for resolving the Ukraine conflict is only an initial framework and will require significant revisions by Russia, Ukraine, the United States, and European partners. He added that Moscow has not yet engaged in concrete negotiations on the plan.
Ushakov noted that while the draft has been delivered through proper channels and many of its provisions appear “acceptable” to Moscow, detailed discussions with all parties are still necessary. He emphasized that the draft will naturally be revised and modified by all sides, including Moscow, Kiev, Washington, and Europe.
He also mentioned that Russia has received a signal from the US to meet in person to begin talks, but no firm arrangements have been made, and no specific US representatives or dates have been proposed. Ushakov dismissed reports of a separate “European plan” for Ukraine, describing it as “not constructive” and unsuitable for Russia.
