The Paphos Colts have stepped onto the training field with a renewed sense of pride this season,
unveiling their brand-new kit generously provided by Elmon and organised with the support of
James Heaton.
The Colts, part of Paphos Rugby Union Football Club, continue to grow in strength as players
train hard each week, building the skills, discipline, and teamwork needed to compete in upcoming
games and tournaments. Training sessions focus not only on physical fitness, but also on
developing core rugby skills, match awareness, and the strong team spirit that defines the club.
Speaking about the new kit, James Heaton said, ‘The new strip represents more than just a fresh
look – it marks a new chapter of energy, commitment, and brotherhood both on and off the pitch.’
Club Head Coach Chris Thomas says ‘the new kit has given the squad an extra boost of
confidence, helping the players feel united and ready to represent Paphos with pride. The
emphasis is on commitment, respect, and brotherhood – values that the Colts carry with them at
every training session and every match.’
PRUFC is home to a growing rugby community in Paphos, offering opportunities for all ages and
abilities. Alongside the Colts (ages 12-17 years contact rugby training), the club includes:
● Paphos Cubs – Mixed tag rugby for ages 6–11
● Paphos Wildcats – Female touch rugby for ages 12+
● Paphos Tigers – Men’s contact rugby (18+)
● Paphos Vipers – Veterans rugby
Training takes place at Sportivo, with Colts, Wildcats, Tigers and Vipers training on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 7:00–8:30pm, and Cubs training on Thursdays from 6:00–7:00pm.
The club welcomes new players of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced
athletes, and encourages anyone interested to come along and get involved.
