Why humanity cannot get rid of mosquitoes

A mosquito is not just an annoying blood -sucking insect, but the most dangerous creature on the planet. Every year in the world, two million people die because of them and this is only official information. Why is it impossible to solve the problem of flying killers once and for all by simply destroying them? Even if such a task was on the shoulder of mankind, then this would never happen anyway.
Three thousand species of mosquitoes belonging to 38 births live on our planet. Of these, females only 6% of species feed on human blood. All the rest are strict vegans and prefer floral nectar. Among blood -sucking species, only species can be considered dangerous that can tolerate parasites and infections. There are about half of them.
But even a small number of species dangerous for us has a destructive effect on humanity. Mosquitoes can be not only the owners of parasites, viruses and bacteria, but are also able to transfer pathogens from diseases from sick people to healthy.
In many countries of the world, there is no such protection from mosquitoes and mosquitoes
Every year, 700 million people are infected thanks to mosquitoes, mainly in the warm regions of the planet. In the risk zone, Africa, South and Central America, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Australia and even the south of Russia. Every year, two million deaths are recorded, but scientists believe that this picture cannot be called complete.
We will speak frankly – at the moment we do not have technologies that can destroy all mosquitoes on the planet. But if they were, humanity will never go to this step, since the consequences of the disappearance of mosquitoes will be truly catastrophic.
Mosquitoes feeding nectar play an important role in pollination of plants and, in turn, are an important link in the food chain. Masses feed on many species of birds and bats, and their larvae – indispensable food for fish, amphibians and reptiles.
There is another important point – mosquitoes are on guard of tropical forests, protecting them from man. Miriads of flying bloodsuckers make many places of the planet unsuitable for the life and activities of people, thereby saving them from destruction.
Locally fighting flying bloodsuckers still has to
Biologists are also sure that nature will not tolerate voids and a niche, freed by mosquitoes, will be filled with other insects. It is possible that they will be carriers of even more dangerous infections. Therefore, scientists around the world are engaged in the search for effective ways to prevent and treat infections transmitted by mosquitoes, and not the development of methods for their extermination.
A good example of what the destruction of just one type of living organisms can lead to, China, which once destroyed almost all sparrows and paid millions of lives for it.
