Aldi’s supermarket group has announced a 16 per cent increase in sales across Britain and Ireland, reaching £17.9 billion ($23.48 billion) in 2023.
The retailer also revealed plans to open 23 additional stores by the end of the year, part of an £800 million investment strategy.
With a 10 per cent market share, according to Kantar data, Aldi also reported a significant rise in pretax profit, which jumped to £536.7 million, compared to £152.6 million in the previous year.
