Russian medical genetic center Genotek announced the purchase of the Yandex Health telemedicine service. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The Yandex Health team and its director Fyodor Kireev will join Genotek, the press service reports.
Doctors who cooperate with the service will continue to provide online consultations as usual.
Therapist Tatyana Romanenko previously told NSN about the reasons for the popularity of telemedicine consultations.
According to her, during a telemedicine consultation, the patient receives an action plan and a number of recommendations from a specialist; often, such an appeal provides psychotherapeutic assistance.
