Doctor Demyanovskaya advised not to dress too lightly in Indian summer
Neurologist, candidate of medical sciences, physician and expert of the laboratory “Gemotest” Ekaterina Demyanovskaya recommended not to dress too lightly in Indian summer.
“People often catch colds during the Indian summer, and this is not surprising. Warm weather creates a sense of false security, and many dress too lightly,” the expert said in an interview with Life.ru.
According to the expert, the air temperature in autumn can change dramatically, leading to serious cold weather.
To avoid hypothermia, the doctor recommended dressing warmly, like autumn.
“In addition, at the beginning of September, schoolchildren and students return to school, and in close-knit groups there is a higher risk of catching a respiratory infection,” Demyanovskaya added.
Earlier, otolaryngologist Anton Rizaev from SM-Clinic spoke about the consequences of chronic tonsillitis.
