Children's dentist and orthodontist Konstantin Krylov stated that a child's posture may deteriorate due to an incorrect bite.
“The formation of a pathological bite from the first day of life is negatively influenced by errors during breastfeeding, excessive use of a pacifier and other factors,” he said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.
According to him, due to an incorrect bite, the so-called “computer neck” syndrome occurs, which leads to the restructuring of the entire musculoskeletal system.
As Krylov noted, it is important to monitor the child's health. The bite is not inherited from parents – the baby can only have a genetic predisposition, which will not develop without provoking factors, the doctor concluded.
Earlier, dentist and member of the Association of Young Dentists Dmitry Lozovoy advised against using folk methods of teeth whitening.
