Russian figure skater Alena Kostornaia, who performs in a pair with Georgy Kunitsa, reported that she is recovering from an illness.
“I'll answer some questions right away: 1. I was very sick, but I'm getting better. 2. The recovery period is long. 3. Competitions? Depends on how long the recovery period is. 4. I was treated in the hospital under the supervision of doctors,” she wrote on social media.
Let us recall that 21-year-old Kostornaya is the European champion in single skating. Since 2023, she has been performing in pair skating with Georgy Kunitsa, whom she married a year ago.
