Nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg spoke about the beneficial properties of red meat – pork, beef, lamb and horse meat.
“Meat contains iron, which is best absorbed and replenishes our iron supply,” the expert said in an interview with Vechernaya Moskva.
According to the specialist, red meat contains vitamin D3 and vitamin B12.
The doctor also noted that all types of red meat are equally beneficial for the body.
“Pork is usually fattier. Accordingly, when it is consumed, there is a higher load on the body. Where should the body put the received energy? It will accumulate. This suggests that pork is more likely to promote weight gain than beef. The only difference is this,” the nutritionist added.
