Cardiac surgeon Akchurin will be buried on October 9 at Troekurovskoye Cemetery

Cardiac surgeon Renat Akchurin will be buried at the Troekurovskoye cemetery in Moscow on Wednesday, October 9, the Tatarstan embassy in the capital reported, citing the doctor’s son Maxim.

“The farewell ceremony will take place on the same day at 10:00 at the Institute of Clinical Cardiology named after Academician A.L. Myasnikov,” says the embassy’s Telegram channel.

On October 6, it became known that cardiac surgeon Akchurin, who performed coronary bypass surgery on the first president of Russia, Boris Yeltsin, died after a long illness at the age of 78.
