Nutritionist Arzamastsev: dried fruits and nuts are useful for arrhythmia
Dietician and nutritionist Evgeny Arzamastsev spoke about products that can be useful for arrhythmia.
“When a person has a loss of potassium, associated, for example, with hot weather, a strict diet or taking medications, then it is worth eating dried apricots or other dried fruits or nuts that contain a lot of potassium,” he said in an interview with the Moscow 24 website.
According to him, arrhythmia may also be associated with a lack of magnesium. In this case, you can add nuts to your diet.
As Arzamastsev clarified, if the condition is not associated with a lack of microelements, then the help of a doctor is needed.
In turn, nutritionist Mariyat Mukhina, in an interview with Life.ru, spoke about contraindications to eating red caviar.
According to her, this product contains a lot of salt, which can create problems for hypertensive patients. Caviar is also contraindicated for those who are allergic to seafood.
“A high protein content of up to 36%, on the one hand, indicates the high nutritional value of the product, but is not suitable for patients with impaired purine metabolism or gout,” Mukhina added.
Earlier, nutritionist Doctor of Medical Sciences Mariyat Mukhina listed foods that, due to blood thickening, can provoke the formation of blood clots. These include alcohol, coffee, sweets, salty foods and foods with vitamin K.
