Doctor Kashukh advised storing bread in the freezer
Candidate of Medical Sciences, gastroenterologist, expert of the Hemotest laboratory Ekaterina Kashukh told how to store bread so that it remains fresh and does not lose its nutritional properties.
Bread should be stored in a cool, dry place in a closed bag or bread box so that it does not go stale and lose its taste, she explained in an interview with Life.ru.
“However, if there is obviously more bread than you can eat in the coming days, you can freeze it,” Kashuh added.
According to her, in the freezer the product will retain all its nutritional properties.
It is recommended to defrost bread at room temperature so that it retains its dense texture and taste, and after defrosting, you can warm the product a little in the microwave, the doctor concluded.
Earlier, nutritionist Anna Belousova, in a conversation with NSN, spoke about the properties of flaxseed oil. According to her, it can become harmful if stored improperly.
