Doctor Razagatova spoke about the risks of sudden climate change while traveling
Therapist-endocrinologist of the Fomina Clinic network in the city of Ufa, Arina Razagatova, spoke about the health risks of sudden climate changes while traveling.
When there is a sharp change in ambient temperature, the body begins to produce stress hormones, which reduce immunity, the expert said in an interview with “Evening Moscow”.
According to the specialist, stress also raises blood pressure and increases the load on the heart.
Immunity, chronic diseases, sleep patterns, physical activity and nutrition especially influence how the body will tolerate a sudden climate change, Razagatova noted.
The doctor recommended planning a vacation without exacerbation of chronic diseases, not overloading the body with heavy food and not going straight into the scorching sun.
Earlier, Tatyana Krymtseva, Associate Professor of the Department of Fundamental Disciplines of the Faculty of Medicine of the State University of Education, spoke about the benefits of daytime sleep.
