Nutritionist Chekhonina doubted the particular benefits of gluten-free bread
Yulia Chekhonina, a nutritionist at the Medical Nutrition Clinic of the Federal Center for Nutrition and Biotechnology, said that gluten-free bread cannot be called more healthy than regular bread.
“For a healthy person, there is no need to limit your diet, since bread is a healthy food product,” the expert said in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.
According to the specialist, gluten intolerance most often manifests itself in childhood or adolescence and is necessarily accompanied by a number of gastrointestinal symptoms.
“If such symptoms occur repeatedly, you should consult a doctor to find out the cause. In the case of celiac enteropathy, a strict diet correction is necessary, including the exclusion of gluten-containing grains,” the nutritionist noted.
Previously, nutritionist Nuria Dianova recommended not to overuse sandwiches with butter and cheese.
