Nutritionist Mukhina spoke about the consequences of excessive passion for dumplings
Nutritionist Doctor of Medical Sciences Mariyat Mukhina spoke about the consequences of being overly fond of dumplings.
In a conversation with the Moscow 24 website, she stated that, in general, this is a universal product that is quickly prepared and saturates the body with fats, proteins and carbohydrates, but if consumed in excess, dumplings can be harmful.
“This flour, fat and protein dish can lead to weight gain. If you often eat fatty meat, there will be an increase in cholesterol and hence atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases,” Mukhina noted.
According to her, it is better to eat dumplings no more than twice a week, and the serving should be no more than 150 g. It is also recommended to add 200 g of vegetables, and low-fat sour cream is suitable for dressing.
