The launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft launched from Baikonur
The Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle with the Soyuz MS-26 manned spacecraft and three crew members of the 72nd long-term ISS expedition launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome.

On board the ship are Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexei Ovchinin, TASS special correspondent on the ISS Ivan Wagner and NASA astronaut Donald Pettit.
Earlier, Roscosmos announced that the state commission at the Baikonur Cosmodrome had cleared the launch of the rocket to send the Soyuz MS-26 spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS).
