Crew Dragon with cosmonaut Gorbunov set off for the ISS

The American spacecraft Crew Dragon with Russian cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov as part of the crew set off for the International Space Station (ISS).

The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the Crew Dragon ship was carried out from the launch pad of the US Space Force base at Cape Canaveral. American Nick Haig went to the ISS together with the Russian cosmonaut.

Initially, the mission crew was supposed to consist of four people. However, it was shortened to allow the return of the crew of the CST-100 Starliner, which had several maneuvering engines fail during docking with the ISS.

According to the forecast, the docking of Crew Dragon with the orbital station will take place on September 30 at 00:30 Moscow time.

Earlier it was reported that the Crew Dragon ship with space tourists successfully splashed down.
