The opening ceremony of the Science 0+ festival took place in Moscow
The Science 0+ festival started in Moscow on October 11. Thousands of people took part in the largest event for the popularization of knowledge and the key event of the Decade of Science and Technology. The festival is held annually from September to November in all regions of Russia at more than 400 venues, as well as abroad.
The festival is organized by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science, the Moscow government represented by the city Department of Education and Science with the support of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, RAS, regional government bodies.
Guests of honor addressed the participants, including Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko.
“The All-Russian festival “Science 0+” has long acquired national and now international status, becoming the world’s largest event in the field of popularization of science. Today the festival is the hallmark of Russian science education in many friendly countries – Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Cuba. Over 400 sites will be organized in all regions of our country,” he noted.
