The laureates of the X All-Russian Prize “For Fidelity to Science” were named in Moscow
The names of the winners of the X All-Russian Prize “For Fidelity to Science” were announced at the Moscow Zaryadye Concert Hall. The award is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology announced by the President of the Russian Federation.
The winner in the “Scientific Journalist of the Year” category was the author and host of the scientific travel show “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Science,” Alexander Prudnikov. The main prize in the “Recognition” category was awarded to the Soviet and Russian zoologist and biogeographer, host of the “In the Animal World” program Nikolai Drozdov. The best scientific press service of the year was the press service of the Russian Science Foundation, and the “Special Prize named after Daniil Granin” was awarded to the FANK Scientific Film Laboratory. In the sub-nomination “Special Prize for the Popularization of High-Tech Domestic Developments” (nomination “Special Prize named after Christopher Ledentsov”), the St. Petersburg State University project “SPbU in Action” won. The jury also awarded victory to the “Scientific Universe” competition in the “Science for Children” category, and to the “Jet Propulsion” Rocket Championship in the “Special Prize for the Popularization of the Space Industry” sub-category (the “Special Prize named after Christopher Ledentsov” category).
Let us remind you that the Prize “For Fidelity to Science” has been awarded since 2015; its laureates are outstanding popularizers of science, as well as scientific press services and popular science projects. In 2024, the award collected about 2,000 applications from 80 regions of the country.
