Major update makes hacker multitool Flipper Zero even more powerful
The multifunctional hacker tool Flipper Zero has received its first major system update in three years to version 1.0, which has added many new features to the multitool. This was reported in the manufacturer's blog.
Key improvements include increased battery life, allowing Flipper Zero to now stay in standby mode for up to one month. Bluetooth has also been significantly improved, allowing data transfer speeds to be doubled.
Among the significant innovations, support for JavaScript is noted, which simplifies the process of creating your own applications. In addition, the NFC subsystem has been completely rewritten – it now supports more types of cards and ensures their faster processing.
The update also added support for additional IR protocols, increasing the total number of compatible radio protocols to 89.
Flipper Zero is a portable multi-tool for pentesters and geeks that allows you to examine and hack digital systems such as radio protocols, access control systems and other equipment. The device is equipped with an LCD display, a 5-button panel, a microSD card slot and various wireless modules for RFID, NFC, Bluetooth and infrared.
