WccfTech: Apple is running out of MacBook Pros – new models will be introduced soon
Apple plans to release new models of Mac computers based on the M4 chip on November 1st. The line is expected to include updated versions of the Mac mini, MacBook Pro and iMac. These plans are indirectly confirmed by a reduction in retail stocks of current models of the listed devices, which indicates the company is preparing to launch new devices. This was reported by WccfTech.
Analyst Mark Gurman also reported Apple's plans to update the iPad mini line next month. The design of the device is expected to remain unchanged, but it will be equipped with new smart capabilities thanks to the AI-enabled A17 Pro or A18 chip and 8GB of RAM.
The new MacBook Pro models are expected to retain the current design, but will receive M4 series chips. The 24-inch iMac will also feature the M4 without major design changes. The updated Mac mini will be more compact and portable, and will also receive M4 and M4 Pro chips.
In addition, the analyst noted that Apple is also developing a new basic iPad. However, Gurman is not sure that this device will be presented in November 2024.
