IT-Home: Xiaomi showed Watch H1 E with pressure and temperature measurement
The Chinese company Xiaomi has announced the release of its first smartwatch equipped with blood pressure and temperature monitoring. The model, called Watch H1 E, is already available for purchase in China, and is expected to enter the international market soon. This was reported by IT-Home.
The main feature of Watch H1 E is the ability to monitor blood pressure around the clock, which will help prevent the risk of developing hypertension. To measure blood pressure, a special strap mechanism is used, which is inflated, similar to a blood pressure monitor cuff. During the measurement process, you need to place the hand on which you are wearing the watch to your chest and hold it with your other hand by the elbow.
Watch H1 E is certified as a Class II medical device by the Beijing Municipal Drug Administration. To obtain accurate data, it is enough to measure once a day, and the smart watch itself will remind you of the need for this. In addition to pressure, the watch also displays data on pulse, blood oxygen saturation, wrist temperature, electrocardiogram, vascular elasticity, pulse wave, signs of arrhythmia and more.
Specifications of the Xiaomi Watch H1 E include a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 by 466 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz, as well as Always On Display mode. The battery has a capacity of 500 mAh and provides up to 9 days of operation on a single charge. The smartwatch supports more than 100 workouts and is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS modules for wireless communication. There is protection against water and dust corresponding to the IP68 standard.
In China, the cost of the Watch H1 E smartwatch is 1.9 thousand yuan (approximately 26 thousand rubles at the exchange rate as of October 15, 2024, – Gazeta.Ru).
