Insider Jeff Pu: iPhone 17 Slim will have one camera and a basic Apple A19 chip
The first details of the future iPhone 17 Slim, which is credited with a thin body, have appeared online. This was reported by the GSMArena portal with reference to authoritative Haitong International analyst Jeff Pu.
According to the source, the iPhone 17 Slim or iPhone 17 Air will be equipped with an A19 chip, while the flagship iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will be equipped with an Apple A19 Pro chip and 8 GB of RAM. This hardware will allow the smartphone to support the Apple Intelligence AI system.
In addition, the iPhone 17 Slim will only have a 48 MP rear camera and a 24 MP front camera. Among other things, the smartphone is credited with a 6.6-inch display, a Face ID scanner, an aluminum frame, and a completely new design with a thin body. It is expected that the new product will replace the iPhone Plus model.
Jeff Pu also indicated that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will receive 6.3- and 6.9-inch displays, an Apple A19 Pro chip, 12 GB of RAM, a 48 MP telephoto lens and a 24 MP front camera. However, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive a narrower Dynamic Island cutout thanks to a new facial recognition system.
