IT expert Skarzhinsky: regularly replacing the thermal pad will prolong the life of the laptop

Information technology (IT) specialist Nikolai Skarzhinsky shared with NEWS.ru information on how to avoid laptop overheating and prolong its operation. According to him, one of the main reasons for overheating is insufficient cooling of the device.

Skarzynski noted that modern processors and video chips require a powerful cooling system, and if it is not efficient enough, this can lead to overheating. The expert also emphasized the importance of proper operation of the laptop, for example, not placing it in such a way that the cooling holes are blocked, such as when working while lying down.

In addition, Skarzynski recalled the need to regularly clean the laptop from dust using compressed air to prevent clogging of the compartments and, as a result, overheating. He also advised changing thermal pads at least once every three years, as they lose their properties over time.

By following these recommendations, laptop users can extend their lifespan and avoid overheating problems.
