"People's Daily": in China, robot dogs help remove garbage from Mount Taishan
A group of robot dogs was spotted on Mount Taishan in East China's Shandong Province, sparking interest among tourists. The newspaper “People's Daily” writes about this.
According to the publication, such robotic dogs are capable of carrying heavy loads without any effort and are among the fastest and most technologically advanced industrial-class four-legged robots. They have been successfully tested by Taishan Cultural Tourism Group. It is clarified that the robots are designed for garbage collection and transportation of goods.
According to People's Daily, robotic dogs have many advantages, including the ability to overcome obstacles, excellent stability and balance, as well as large load capacity and long battery life.
In July, New Atlas wrote that engineers from the Italian company Dynamic Legged Systems Lab have developed a unique solution to the problem of beach pollution – the VERO (Vacuum-cleaner Equipped Robot) robotic platform. The project is a modernized version of the Chinese robotic dog AlienGo, equipped with a vacuum cleaner with special hoses and nozzles that provide high suction pressure.
