GSMArena: Xiaomi has released mini-tablets Pad 7 and 7 Pro for less than 30,000 rubles

Xiaomi has announced two new tablet models: Pad 7 and Pad 7 Pro, which are cheap Android-based iPad analogues. Vendors are positioning the devices as almost flagship tablets using top and mid-range chipsets. This was reported by GSMArena.

The Pad 7 is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 processor, while the Pad 7 Pro is powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen3. Both models have an 11.2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 3200 by 2136 pixels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 800 nits. They also have 8850 mAh batteries with different charging speeds.

The differences between the models relate to the cameras: the Pad 7 has a 13 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera, while the Pad 7 Pro has more powerful cameras. Both models run Xiaomi's HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. Both models also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Tablets will be produced in several combinations of RAM and storage. The dimensions and weight of both devices are identical. Users will be able to choose between black, blue and green colors.

The cost of Pad 7 in China starts from 2 thousand yuan, which is approximately 27.2 thousand rubles. at the exchange rate as of October 30, 2024.
