An Israeli Air Force helicopter crashed while landing in the Rafah area of the Gaza Strip, killing two soldiers and injuring seven others, the Israeli army said.
“An Israeli Air Force Yanshuf helicopter, which was on a mission to evacuate a wounded soldier to a hospital for medical care, crashed while landing in the Rafah area overnight,” the IDF said on its Telegram channel.
According to preliminary data, the plane crash was not related to external influence. A military investigative commission has been appointed to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
