Ryabkov: US statement on Ukraine's strikes deep into Russia will add risks to them

The US statement on considering the issue of lifting restrictions on strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into Russian territory will add risks to Washington.

A statement about this was made on September 11 by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Ryabkov.

According to him, such statements are an element of psychological warfare, which, in turn, is part of a hybrid war.

“Like other signals and actions that we are also seeing – of an escalatory nature – this statement will not change our course, but will add risks and dangers, including for the United States itself and its allies, clients and protégés,” RIA Novosti quotes Ryabkov as saying.

Earlier, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov promised Moscow's response to the US's permission for long-range weapons.
