The US will allocate over $700 million to Ukraine for demining and repairing the energy system
The United States will allocate more than $700 million to Ukraine for the restoration of the energy system, humanitarian support and demining, announced Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.
“Today we are allocating $325 million in new funding to help restore Ukraine's energy and power grid… I am also announcing $290 million in new humanitarian support,” TASS quotes him as saying.
In addition, according to Blinken, the United States will allocate an additional $102 million to Kyiv for humanitarian demining.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, stated that the US military-industrial complex, inflamed by the conflict in Ukraine, could ignite new wars.
