Israel's Defense Ministry says conflict with Hezbollah will have to be resolved militarily

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant believes that his country must take military action against Hezbollah in order to stabilize the situation on the border with Lebanon.

The minister made the corresponding statement in Israel at a meeting with the deputy assistant and senior adviser to the American leader on energy and investment, Amos Hochstein.

“The only way for northern residents to return to their homes is through military action,” RIA Novosti quotes Galant as saying.

Earlier, Israeli aircraft attacked southern Lebanon.
