An MQ-9 Reaper drone of the US-led anti-terrorist “coalition” came dangerously close to a Russian Aerospace Forces Su-35 aircraft in the skies over Syria.
This was stated by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Captain 1st Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
“In the south of Homs province, a coalition MQ-9 modular reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicle came dangerously close to a Russian Aerospace Forces Su-35 aircraft that was carrying out a scheduled flight along the southern border of Syria,” TASS quotes him as saying.
According to him, in just one day, 12 violations of the rules for using Syrian airspace by coalition aircraft and eight cases of violations of the provisions of the deconfliction protocols were recorded in the Et-Tanf area.
Earlier it was reported that the US-led coalition aircraft violated Syrian airspace ten times.
