The United States, as an ally of Israel, bears responsibility for its actions in the Middle East.
This is stated in a letter from the Iranian mission to the UN Secretary General.
“Western countries, especially the United States as a strategic ally (of Israel. — RT), with their so-called ironclad, unwavering support, bear international responsibility for all international legal actions of the occupation regime,” RIA Novosti reports.
Earlier, Iran's permanent mission to the UN said Tehran would respond appropriately to the attack on its ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, following the explosions of pagers in different parts of the country.
