MP on calls for EU to allow strikes deep into Russia: EP is a decorative organ
State Duma deputy and first deputy chairman of the Defense Committee Alexey Zhuravlyov called the European Parliament a decorative body in an interview with RT. In this way, he commented on reports that members of the European Parliament intend to seek the lifting of restrictions on strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into Russian territory.
“The European Parliament is a decorative body that decides absolutely nothing and was created, it seems, solely for the purpose of continuously churning out anti-Russian resolutions,” he said.
According to Zhuravlev, the EP is mainly made up of people who know nothing about any of the industries and can only talk and think in slogans.
Earlier it was reported that the EP deputies intend to seek the lifting of restrictions on strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces deep into Russian territory. This follows from the draft resolution on Ukraine, which will be approved at the EP plenary session in Strasbourg.
