US Senator Mark Warner thanked Meta* for its decision to remove RT accounts from its platforms and for sharing information about Russia's “activities” on the platform.
He stated this during hearings on foreign threats to American elections in the US Senate.
“I want to thank Meta for its decision to remove the RT accounts,” Warner said.
Earlier, RT responded to the blocking of all the channel's accounts on Meta platforms.
* Meta is the owner of Facebook and Instagram, its activities are recognized as extremist and are prohibited in Russia by the decision of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow dated 03/21/2022.
