Polish authorities: Warsaw will receive €5 billion from the EU for flood recovery
Poland will receive half of the €10 billion allocated by the EU to restore infrastructure in flood-damaged Central European countries.
This was announced by the head of the Polish Prime Minister's office, Jan Grabiec.
“We have mobilized €10 billion (of which €5 billion for Poland) from the Cohesion Fund for flood recovery on preferential terms,” Grabiec wrote on the social network X.
Earlier, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced at a press conference in Poland the possibility of allocating €10 billion to flood-affected Central European countries.
