Russian military ensures exit of 26 refugees from al-Tanf zone in Syria
Russian military personnel ensured the exit of 26 refugees from the Et-Tanf region in Syria.
This was stated by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Captain 1st Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.
“In one day, 26 refugees (six men, six women, 14 children) were released from the US-occupied zone of At-Tanf, where the humanitarian situation remains grave,” TASS quotes him as saying.
In addition, Ignasyuk spoke about humanitarian actions carried out by the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in the settlements of El-Mustarikh in the Aleppo province and Dibsi-Faraj in the Raqqa province.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces repelled an attempt by militants to penetrate government positions in the Syrian province of Idlib.
