Afghan authorities want to send deputy prime minister to BRICS summit in Kazan
The Taliban have announced their desire to send acting Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar to the BRICS summit in Kazan in October.
This was reported by the head of the Russian Business Center in Afghanistan, Rustam Khabibullin.
“The government of Afghanistan has submitted a written application for the participation of the country’s top leadership in the BRICS summit, which will be held in Kazan on October 22-24,” RIA Novosti quotes him as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the head of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas will take part in the BRICS summit in Kazan.
