The G20 countries intend to work on reforming global governance institutions.

Bloomberg writes about this.

“The G20 countries agreed to push for an overhaul of the United Nations, the World Trade Organization and multilateral creditors in a breakthrough after 1.5 months of negotiations,” the report said.

According to the draft communiqué cited by the agency, plans for reforms will be announced on September 25 at a meeting of foreign ministers of G20 member countries.

It is noted that the reforms concern the UN, the international financial architecture and the multilateral trading system.

Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet decided whether he will participate in the G20 summit in Brazil.
