MFA: Russia expects a decision in a dispute with Ukraine over maritime law at the end of the year
Russia expects that the decision of the international arbitration in the dispute with Ukraine over rights in the Black and Azov Seas, as well as the Kerch Strait, will be made at the end of this year or the beginning of next year.
The head of the Russian delegation at the hearings in The Hague, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Gennady Kuzmin, made a statement about this to journalists.
“After the hearings, we expect a final decision at the end of this year or early next year. Because the case is very big,” TASS quotes him as saying.
Earlier, Kuzmin stated that the Ukrainian side’s claims regarding the Crimean Bridge go beyond the UN convention.
