Oversight Committee Launches Investigation into Zelensky's Visit to Pennsylvania Plant
The House Oversight Committee has launched an investigation into the spending of taxpayer funds on Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to Pennsylvania, where he visited a military plant.
According to the congressmen, a group headed by James Comer, the administration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris may have used taxpayer funds to transport Zelensky to Pennsylvania as part of Harris's election campaign.
Comer requested documents from the White House, Defense Department, and Justice Department “regarding the Biden-Harris administration’s abuse of government resources,” which would implicate Zelensky in interference in the presidential election.
Ahead of Zelensky's trip to the plant, The New Yorker magazine published an interview with him, in which Zelensky “made several critical comments” about US presidential candidate Donald Trump and vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance, the congressmen note.
