Russian Aerospace Forces strike eight militant bases in Syria

Over the past 24 hours, aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces have carried out strikes on eight militant bases in two provinces of Syria.

A statement about this was made by the deputy head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Warring Parties (CPVS) in Syria, Captain 1st Rank Oleg Ignasyuk.

“The Russian Aerospace Forces launched strikes in the desert areas of the provinces of Homs and Deir ez-Zor on eight identified bases of militants who had left the al-Tanf zone,” he noted.

Earlier it was reported that a Su-34 aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces prevented a collision with an MQ-9 Reaper drone in Syria.
