The Israeli army announced another strike on Beirut
The Israeli army announced that it had launched another “precise strike” on Beirut. According to the IDF press service, the attack targeted the “central headquarters” of the Hezbollah movement, which is located “under residential buildings.”
“Hezbollah’s central headquarters was deliberately built under residential buildings in the heart of Beirut’s Dahiyeh neighborhood,” the Israeli military said in a statement.
According to the Lebanese portal Al Manar, at least four houses were destroyed as a result of the strike. In particular, destruction was noticed in the Haret Hreik area. Now they are putting out a fire that broke out at the site of the impact.
As Al Jazeera reports, there is panic in the city, with local residents “calling each other, trying to understand what happened.” Ambulances are rushing to the scene of the impact.
