Foreign Ministry: Russia calls on Israel for an immediate cessation of hostilities
The Russian Foreign Ministry said Moscow calls on Israel to immediately cease hostilities.
“We again urge Israel to immediately cease hostilities. This would make it possible to stop the bloodshed and create conditions for a political and diplomatic settlement,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also called on the international community to “do everything in their power” to prevent a full-scale armed confrontation in the Middle East.
Earlier it was reported that Moscow strongly condemns the political assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel and warns of the risk of severe dramatic consequences for the entire region.
