The head of the White House pointed out that Nasrallah and the movement he led were “responsible for the murders of hundreds of Americans.”
“His death in an Israeli airstrike is a measure of justice for numerous victims, including thousands of Americans, Israelis and Lebanese civilians,” Biden said in a statement released by the White House press pool.
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that the United States could not escape responsibility for the murder of Nasrallah.
