Politburo member of the Palestinian Hamas movement Khalil al-Hayya called the operation to assassinate the leader of the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah a terrorist act.
“The crime that the forces (of Israel – RT ) committed is a terrorist act,” TASS quotes him as saying.
In addition, al-Hayya noted that the Israeli operation is regarded as “a clear violation of Lebanese sovereignty.”
Earlier, Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said that the IDF's killing of Nasrallah would lead to the “destruction” of Israel.
