The embassy confirmed that there were two Russians on board the Mi-8 helicopter that crashed in Pakistan; their condition is unknown.
The diplomatic mission reported this on Telegram.
The embassy noted that of the three helicopter crew members, the co-pilot and on-board mechanic were Russian citizens.
“The embassy currently does not have information about the condition of the Russians,” the message says.
Earlier it became known that a helicopter with Russian pilots crashed in northern Pakistan.
