US President Joe Biden has said he will not support a possible Israeli ground operation in Lebanon.

“I know more than you think, and I would be fine if they stopped it,” Biden responded when asked by reporters whether he knew about Israel’s plans to conduct a ground operation and whether he was comfortable with them.
According to the president, it is now necessary to achieve a ceasefire in the region.
Earlier, the head of the State Department press service, Matthew Miller, said that Israel informed the United States that it was conducting operations against the Hezbollah movement near the Lebanese-Israeli border.
