State Department: Israel informed the US of conducting operations against Hezbollah on the border

Israel informed the United States that it was conducting operations against Hezbollah near the Lebanese-Israeli border.

This was announced by the head of the press service of the US State Department, Matthew Miller.

“They inform us about a number of operations… This time they told us that these are limited operations aimed at Hezbollah infrastructure near the border, but we continue to negotiate with them on this matter,” TASS quotes him as saying.

CBS previously reported that Israel could launch a limited-scale ground operation in Lebanon within a few hours.
